
On Thursday the Dallas Center-Grimes baseball team traveled to Ankeny Centennial High School for battle against the Jaguars. The Mustangs would strike first, scoring two runs in the first inning but would unfortunately fall to the Jaguars 12-2.
Junior Cross Bandy would get the starting nod on the mound for the Mustangs and would pitch through 3.1 innings notching in four strikeouts ending the day with a 6.3 ERA. Bandy, Tate Perrin, Caethan Stocker, and Tate Brendeland would have have hits against the Jaguars, to notch in their two runs against Ankeny Centennial.
Baseball action resumes on Tuesday for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs as the Mustangs travel to ADM High School for varsity baseball action at 7pm. One team will advance to two wins, as both teams enter Tuesday night’s contest at 1-2.
