Perry and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High Schools will be honoring the Class of 2025 with their respective commencement ceremonies tomorrow.
According to Perry High School Principal Brad Snowgren, 151 students will be receiving their diplomas as the ceremony will take place at 2pm on the Dan Marburger Court inside the high school. He highlights that seniors Quin Mahler-Moreno and Owen Myers will be the student representatives during the ceremony.
Snowgren shares that this will be his third time leading the graduation ceremony, but first as the full-time principal following Dan Marburger’s passing last year.
ADM High School Principal Lee Griebel reveals that 162 seniors will be graduating. He notes that three students are speaking at the commencement ceremony with seniors Isaac Hatchitt, Payton Taylor, and Taylor Braun. Griebel has been the principal for 19 years, and says that the school district does a great job of preparing students for the real world.
“At ADM, we work kids pretty hard because we know that life is tough and we want to hold high expectations for them, and we have them meet that. I just love seeing the smiles on their face or the awards that are given out that are unexpected.”
The ceremony is happening at 2:30pm inside the high school north gym, with the doors opening at 1pm.
