Perry girl’s soccer scored three unanswered goals to keep the season alive Friday night in 3-2 win over Storm Lake at Dewey Field.

Addison Perks, Ayden Erickson, and Itzel Ramirez all beat the keeper for victory.  Perry needed each goal as they trailed 2-0 in the first 20 minutes.

The Jayettes advance to take on the top seed in 2A Dallas Center-Grimes.  The Mustangs have brought home the State title in the previous three seasons and are poised to try again.  Perry was bounced from the playoffs in 2023, 12-0, by DCG.  The Jayettes are winless in the last four match ups with the Mustangs.

Now sitting at 7-7-3, Perry travels to, 10-4-1, DCG on Wednesday for the semifinal at 7P.
