
Bryce Stalder
Bryce Stalder of Jefferson, a 2022 Greene County High School graduate, and his Grand View University baseball teammates, went 0-2 in the NAIA World Series. The Vikings lost twice in Lewiston, Idaho, falling in round one to top seed and undefeated Louisiana State Univversity-Shreveport on May 23 by a 6-3 final, before losing 8-6 on May 24 to University of the Cumberlands (KY) in a consolation round elimination game.
Stalder is the son of Kyle and Cheri Stalder of Jefferson. He’s an infielder at Grand View while also being the assistant baseball coach for the Greene County Rams. Kyle is the Rams’ head baseball coach at Greene County High, and the Rams are scheduled to open the season on May 28 in Jefferson vs. PCM (Monroe) in Jefferson at Linduska Field. The May 28 varsity contest is set to be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com at 7:30 p.m.
