May is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean that some aren’t still showing their appreciation for those that deserve it.
Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says that with May being School Board Appreciation Month, it’s a time to recognize the feats that school board members do for their districts. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio about the two Boards that he works with.
“They spend a lot of time in meetings once a month at minimum, sometimes two or three times depending on the schedule, but just really appreciate what they do. So for Adair – Casey, we have Randy Carney, Amanda Byerline, Blair Carney, Lindsay Dinkla, and Justin Crawford. And for Guthrie Center, we have Matt Van Meter, Brian Sheeder, Tate Stetzel, Cara Underwood, and Chris Langgaard.”
Rasmussen mentions that the Board members are very involved in the district, helping out on the Booster Club and at sporting events. He adds that over the years that he has been at AC/GC, these Board members have all been great to work with.
