The Iowa High School State Track and Field Meet was recently held in Des Moines, as student-athletes in Dallas County represented well.

Participants from across the state came to Drake Stadium from Thursday to Saturday to run against other schools apart from the four classes in Iowa. In Class 3A, the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Team racked up 67 points to win two consecutive championships following their first ever win in school history in 2024.

Also, the girls 4×100 meter shuttle hurdle relay was awarded first, which featured senior Josi Dufoe who won the 100 meter hurdles individually. Additionally, Dallas Center-Grimes sophomore Piper Messerly won the girls 3,000 meters run in Class 4A.
