Postseason begins tomorrow for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Soccer Team, as they’ll host the Atlantic Trojans in Adel.
ADM will be playing in the Class 2A Substate 8 bracket, as they concluded the 2025 season with a 9-6-1 record overall (5-1-1; 2nd inside the Raccoon River Conference). The Tigers won three of their final four games versus Boone, Ballard, and Carlisle. Senior Jada Grove has been dominant this year with 30 goals scored on 60 shots as she is now the leading goal scorer in ADM history.
On the other side for the Trojans, senior Maddie Richtie has made eight goals, and freshman Goalie Clara Kennedy has 123 saves for a 72 percent rating, while Tiger senior Goalie Alayna Freeman is sitting at 126 saves, which is 85 percent. This will only be the second meeting between the teams, as ADM blanked Atlantic 4-0 back in 2011. Kick off will be from ADM High School at 7pm, with the winner taking on either Spencer or Spirit Lake Park Okoboji.
