Alicia Ofelt, age rd38, 2530 Long Ave, Van Meter, was arrested for Driving While License Denied Or Revoked. She was also cited for Operation Without Registration Card Or Plate and Violation Of Conditions Of Restricted License.

May 24th

Matthew Cornelison, 30, 13710 L Place, Perry, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault, Reckless Driving, two counts of Criminal Mischief 5th Degree and Operating While Under The Influence.

James Smith, Bagley, was traveling on 195th St at 2nd Street, Minburn, when he lost control and drove into the ditch, hitting a pole and tree.  No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle and trailer it was towing was estimated at $30000.  Damage to the pole was estimated at $500 and damage to the yard was estimated at $100. Mr. Smith was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.

Ewon Gusanu, Lincoln, NE, was driving on I80 near the 111 mile marker, when he struck another vehicle driven by Marco Pintor Ceha, Winterset.  Mr. Pintor reported minor injuries, but declined medical treatment.  No other injuries were reported.  Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $20000 each.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

May 26th

Aldin Rekic, age 36, 1000 SE 11th St, Grimes, was arrested on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault, Child Endangerment, Thirteen counts of Contempt-Violation Of No Contact Order.

Robert Wallace, age 61, 442 N. 10th St, Adel, was arrested on a warrant for Probation Violation.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
