The next big event for the Perry Chamber of Commerce is coming up on Friday.
Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti announces that Friday Fest is taking place at Pattee Park a week earlier than normal. She says that usually the chamber has the event on the first Friday of June, but with the way the calendar fell this year, she wanted to give Friday Fest its own spotlight before their other summer events kick in. Pasutti reveals that the band Rukkus is performing and that guests are welcome to bring beverages of beer or wine, but kindly asks to avoid glass bottles. She notes that there will be kids activities too.
“We’ll have Dugan Party Rentals with their foam party and their glow foam as well as barrel rides, so something fun for the kiddos while people are enjoying the live music.”
Pasutti mentions food will be served by the Perry Fire Department, the Perry Middle School Softball Team, the high school music department, and The Hangout Diner. The event will run from 6-9:30pm this Friday for free.
