At the Co-Ed State Track and Field Meet this past weekend, the lone Paton-Churdan competitor came out on top of one event.

P-C Sophomore Trevon Keely was crowned the champion in Class 1A high jump with a leap of six feet and eight inches at Drake Stadium on Friday. The jump tied his best for the season and the state runner-up for Class 1A was one inch below Keely at six feet, seven inches was Logan Blum of Woodbine. Keely scored ten team points, which added to the two points he also scored for P-C as he finished seventh in the long jump.
