The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Soccer Team’s 2025 season is now done following a 2-0 loss in the Class 3A Substate 5 Semifinal game against Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday.

ADM began their postseason run taking on a familiar Raccoon River Conference opponent in the Bluejays, as they were unable to produce any goals in the game. Bondurant-Farrar scored seven minutes into the game, with sophomore James Santos able to weave through the ADM defense to put the Bluejays up 1-0. That would be the only goal scored in the first half, and the game would remain that way until a little over 20 minutes had passed in the second half when Santos would capture another goal to give him two on the night, and Bondurant-Farrar the ultimate 2-0 victory. The Bluejays now advance to play Norwalk tomorrow, while the Tigers season ends at 10-7 overall. ADM graduated four seniors of Owen Evans, Nathan Scanlan, Brock Richardson, and Brady Gustafson.
