The post season continues for the West Central Valley Wildcats boys soccer team as the Wildcats defeated the PCM Mustangs 4-1 in the Class 1A region 7 semifinals match up on Tuesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Pella Christian Eagles on Thursday for the regional championship.

West Central Valley would take the lead early against PCM, as junior Aiden Brandon would strike first in the 21st minute, followed by Garret Wolfe in the 28th minute. The momentum would stay in the Wildcats favor, as West Central Valley would score two more times in the second. Alan Diaz would score on a header off a beautiful cross in the 47th minute in the second half, while Trajan Rummel would mimic Diaz with his own header notching in the fourth goal for the Wildcats.

The undefeated season continues into the post season for the West Central Valley Wildcats who enter the regional championship match up with a 15-0-1 record. The Wildcats face off against the Pella Christian Eagles on Thursday for the regional championship, with the winning advancing to the state tournament.
