According to the US Drought Monitor, as of May 27th drought conditions have worsened in Guthrie County.

Compared to the previous week, two thirds of the western part of Guthrie County is experiencing abnormally dry conditions, with the eastern third of the county not facing drought conditions. Both Dallas and Greene Counties are not seeing drought conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, as of May 30th, Perry has recorded 1.52 inches of rain, and usually sees 4.96 inches. Guthrie Center has reported 1.45 inches of rain since the start of the month, and usually averages 5.1 inches, while Jefferson has seen 1.3 inches of rain, while normally recording 4.8 inches.
