Guthrie Center will be hosting their citywide garage sales on June 13th and 14th, and their citywide cleanup will be on June 18th.

According to city officials, sign up for the garage sales is at City Hall, and individuals can pay a $5 fee to have their garage sale placed on a map for the weekend. The maps will be available at City Hall, Peoples Bank, Guthrie County State Bank, Hometown Foods, Dollar General, Sparky’s One Stop and Casey’s by Thursday, June 12th. Sign up for the citywide clean up will also take place at City Hall, with a $25 minimum fee, with some extra fees for tires, TV’s, monitors and freon items. According to city officials, all proceeds will go toward the Guthrie Center Youth Baseball/Softball program. Metal items will be taken to a salvage yard, and the money from that will also go towards the program.
