The Perry Chamber of Commerce is starting a new retail promotional program tomorrow that encourages people to shop locally.
Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti explains residents can participate in a new shopping campaign called “Perry Bingo,” as a way to promote local businesses. She says the concept is to visit the downtown area businesses and either dine in or purchase an item and then receive a stamp on a bingo card.
Pasutti illustrates the campaign follows the rules of bingo, where people are trying to mark off five slots either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, and those individuals who complete that can submit their cards for a drawing for Perry Bucks. She notes there is no limit to the amount of bingo cards people want to submit. Pasutti details that 24 businesses are participating and bingo cards can be picked up from any of those locations, as the campaign will run until Saturday, June 14th.
