The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball Team was home on Friday, picking up two wins in a double header against Creston, with a walk off in the second game.

The Tigers played their sixth and seventh game of the 2025 season in Adel, getting a 13-0 shutout victory in the first game versus the Panthers, then produced a late rally in the second game to win 6-5 in extra innings. ADM jumped on Creston early in the first game, scoring two runs in the first inning, followed by two in the second before exploding for nine runs in the fourth inning and prompted the game to end in five innings. The Panthers would put up a better fight in the second game, but ADM once again would get one across in the bottom of the first inning.

Creston tied it up in the third, but another run came through for the Tigers to grab the 2-1 advantage back. The Panthers then racked up four runs in the top of the seventh to seemingly take control at 5-2, but the Tigers responded with three runs to send the game into extra innings at a 5-5 score. ADM walked it off in the bottom of the ninth inning to secure the double header win.

Creston falls to 4-5 on the season and ADM gets to 3-4, as they will hit the road to Boone tomorrow for a double header against the Toreadors, starting at 5pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the second game around 7pm on K107.9 KKRF.
