
Nominations are open for the 2025 Wall of Witnesses in Perry.
According to Carnegie Museum Librarian Candi Coffin, Hometown Heritage is welcoming community members to submit nominations for individuals that would qualify to get a plaque on the wall in Soumas Court. Hometown Heritage President Bill Clark highlights that there are 26 plaques on the Wall of Witnesses, which he notes revolves around individuals that have a connection with the Perry community, made a positive impact on the area, and have an interesting story.
Former longtime Perry High School Principal Dan Marburger was the recipient in 2024. Coffin details that the deadline for nominations is June 13th and forms can be found at either the Carnegie Library Museum, the Perry Public Library, or online here. She adds that the 2025 unveiling ceremony is planned for September.
