The AC/GC Chargers will be hosting the West Central Valley Wildcats tonight for both baseball and softball.

The 2-3 Chargers baseball team takes on the 2-2 Wildcats. The Chargers won the last game 5-2, but are looking to keep the wins column growing as they’ve won the last two games this season. Tommy Skram has helped the Chargers with a strong showing at the plate, with Noah Kading securing the most RBIs on the season so far. Kading also leads the team win strikeouts, throwing 15 in the teams game against Exira-EHK. For the Wildcats, Tyson Partlow is the leader from the plate and in strikeouts, while Colton Lindsay leads the team on the mound.

The 0-3 Chargers softball team faces the 0-2 Wildcats. The Chargers have won the last four games, and look to pick up their first win of the season. Jayla Hoover and Camdyn Richter have led the team from the mound, while Karli Kautzky has been a force on the plate for the Chargers. For the Wildcats, Grace Bleckwehl and Lillian Gilbert are the leaders on offense, while Meleah Speichinger and Bleckwehl have been the leaders on the mound. The varsity games begin at 7pm, with the softball game to be broadcast by the Raccoon Valley Radio sports network.
