According to a statement, GCH says these calls and texts are coming from scammers that are pretending to be from Guthrie County Hospital and Clinics, requesting patients to confirm their personal information or pay a bill. The hospital says that while they do reach out to patients by phone, they will never ask for personal information or payment through a text message. If you receive an email that seems suspicious:
DO NOT click on any links in email.
DO NOT reply to the email or reach out to the senders in any way.
DO NOT supply any information on the website that may open, if you have clicked on a link in an email.
DO NOT open any attachments that arrive with the email.

If you receive a call or text that seems suspicious:
DO NOT provide your name, telephone number or email address to the caller.
DO NOT provide your social security number, Medicare number or any other identification numbers.
DO NOT click on any links in the text message regarding sending payment.
