
Perry soccer just wrapped up a ten win campaign. The Bluejays saw their season come to an end last Thursday after falling in the Substate Final to Knoxville.
Perry fans were treated to some exciting plays and athletes throughout the season. Jonathan Banuelos tied a school record with six goals in one match in the win over Central Iowa United. In his farewell season, Banuelos beat the keeper 25 times in 2025. The forward will be suiting up for University of Dubuque next year.
Jacobo Cerna-Gomez was the lone Bluejay to score in the season ender. The uber talented junior finished the year with 18 goals. Cerna-Gomez was one of the top passers entering the State Tournament with 22 assists in 18 matches.
Perry finished the year 10-5-3.
