Hotel Pattee in Perry experienced a significant incident on Monday, causing a temporary closure.
According to the hotel, a major pipe burst on one of the guest floors, which led to flooding in the central part of the lobby area. The hotel states the situation was quickly brought under control with the help of Rainbow International, the City of Perry, as well as Hotel Pattee staff.
The hotel concludes that because of the damage, they will need to dry and have remediation work done to the Pattee Cafe, the Courtyard Cafe, and the hotel itself over the next several days. The hotel announces that they’ll share an official reopening plan as soon as possible. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
