Panora Navigation Sign
Panora’s citywide clean-up is next week, but the deadline to sign up is Friday.
City Administrator Lisa Grossman, residents wanting to take part in the clean-up must sign up by end of day on Friday, as that is how they will be able to pay the fee for certain items, and receive stickers verifying them for pick up. Sign up will be conducted at City Hall.
Grossman notes that once residents have done this, they can begin setting items out on the curb for pickup on June 9th. Some of the items that will be accepted are furniture, household clean up items and appliances. She adds that some items accepted for a fee, along with the approval sticker, are tires from various vehicles, and brown goods or electronics. Some items that will not be accepted are paint, vehicles, household chemicals and yard waste.
Grossman shares that according to R&S Waste Disposal, all carpet must be in rolls cut no more than three feet long, metal must be in a separate pile, and any piles not sorted will be left, and the fee will not be refunded. A full list of what will be accepted for a fee, along with a list of what will not be accepted can be found in this story online.
