It’s that time of the year where those who have planted gardens begin seeing the fruits of their labor appear.

Main Street Guthrie Center Director Lindsay Gilland says that the Guthrie Center Farmer’s Market will be starting up for the 2025 season on June 14th. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio about what people can expect when they come to the market.

“We will have many of the same vendors that have been in the past, but also this year we do have quite a few new vendors as well. We’ll have our vegetables and our bread and our arts and our crafts. We will have social networking. We will have a space for you to come and enjoy our farmers market. We’ll have the tables set up. We will have food trucks.”

Gilland mentions that they are also looking to make sure that they have a special fun event each Saturday that the farmer’s market is going on, and will also be making sure that there are things to do for all age groups.
