The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.
According to Administrative Coordinator Melinda Harney, the board received a construction update for the Secondary Roads Administration addition, which she explains a demo was going to begin on Tuesday. She says that there was a contingency allowance of $500 dollars that was switched over to be utilized for the courthouse renovation project. Also, the board was good with being apart of the finish selection process related to the Secondary Roads Admin addition. Finally, Harney confirms that pay applications for the Secondary Roads Admin addition, the courthouse renovations, and the evidence storage and firing range were approved by the board.
Harney says other items on the agenda that were approved included six resolutions for drainage district assessments, a resolution to award a bid for the County Road P48 Paving project, a resolution on a public hearing for the final plat of White Oak Estates contingent on if the Adel City Council was fine with the plat, since it sits in two-mile radius within Adel, a resolution for the City of Waukee to have a revised population data affecting the supervisor districts population equality, and a resolution to appoint Dave Felt to the 2025 Board of Adjustment for two years.
Harney notes that the Emergency Medical Services Physicians Claims Company Billing Contract and Per Diem Rates were tabled until this next Tuesday’s meeting at 9am.
