The road to the state championship continues today as the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls soccer team take on the Xavier Saints in Class 2A semifinals soccer action. Kick off is scheduled for 2:45pm with coverage on KDLS beginning at 2:30.

Senior Alexandra Hofbauer would be fouled in the box against Pella and would score on the penalty kick, and looks to bring the same pressure to the Saints defensive side. Sophomore Emyrson Torsky has 49 saves on the year and looks to continue being the Mustangs brick wall. Alexa Gil and Kenna Knief also shinned against the Dutch, and look to keep the momentum going for DCG in the semifinals.

DCG must defeat Xavier to advance to the Class 2A state championship match up as the Mustangs look to return to championship match for the fourth year in a row. Kick off for the semifinals match up is scheduled for 2:45pm with coverage on KDLS beginning at 2:30pm
