One program at the Panora Public Library has been so popular, they’ve had to add a second day for it.
Library Director Molly Alan says that their monthly card making class has been a favorite for adult patrons, but that there are several who have been unable to make it to the class because it is during the work day. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio how they decided to remedy the situation, by adding a second class.
“It’s for people that were not able to make the 2pm time possible, you know, if they were working at that time. So we are now offering a 5:30pm one. So hopefully more people will be able to make it to that one.”
Allen mentions that the original 2pm class will be held on June 12th this month, with the first class at the new time to be held on June 23rd. She adds that both classes are taught by Judy Zimmerline, and have a $5 material fee to cover making the cards.
