Tomorrow, the Greene County Historical Society invites everyone to their next program.

Historical Society Co-Director Mike Piepel says there is going to be a presentation by Historical Society member Jed McGee about President Abraham Lincoln and the connection that Lincoln had to the state of Iowa. 

“It’ll be wonderful to hear Jed because he is a true historian of Lincoln. And he has a great deal of knowledge as far as Lincoln’s entire life, the presidency, (and) the Civil War, and a number of different events through Lincoln’s life.”

Piepel encourages attendees to also check out their extensive exhibit on Lincoln within the museum both before and after the free program takes place at 2pm.
