A local service in Jefferson was recently recognized with a national distinction.

The Gardens Assisted Living earned the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living. According to the AHCA/NCAL, this recognition is the first of three levels through the National Quality Award Program and the Bronze award is given to facilities that are committed to improving the lives of its residents through quality care.

The Gardens Executive Director and Director of Nursing Tara Quirk is excited to be a recipient of the award and she is proud to say that their team at the Gardens is focused on providing resident-centered care and achieving excellence in everything they do. The AHCA/NCAL says in order to become a Bronze recipient, a facility has to develop an organizational profile, and demonstrate using a performance improvement system.
