Perry boy’s soccer won ten games after they navigated a very difficult schedule.  The Bluejay head coach, Gary Overla, believes in testing his team during the regular season.

Perry shared the pitch with three clubs that played for a State Final.  The Bluejays fell to Van Meter (1A), Gilbert (2A), and Urbandale (3A), all who played at Mediacom Stadium for a championship.  Perry also matched up with two other State qualifiers, Des Moines Hoover and Knoxville.

Van Meter fell in the 1A final to West Sioux in OT, 2-1.  Gilbert captured the 2A crown 3-2 over Bishop Heelan.  Urbandale took home the 3A title after a 1-0 victory over Iowa City Liberty.

The Bluejays fell in the Substate Final to Knoxville 4-1.  They finished the year 10-5-3.
