Having already equaled the 2024 win total, the 2025 Greene County High School softball team hosts South Hamilton (Jewell) tonight with clear goals in mind. Coach Tom Kennedy’s Rams are 3-3 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference games and are 4-5 overall. A win vs. the 0-6 Hawks would put the Rams above the .500 mark in the conference and even the season record.

So far this season the Rams have proven to be a more competitive team than a season ago, with pitching, hitting, and fielding numbers all better than 2024 through the first nine games of the season.

It’s a JV/varsity twin bill at the City Diamond on East Lincolnway in Jefferson with the varsity contest vs. South Hamilton scheduled to start tonight at 7:30.
