The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow evening.

The meeting will start with two public hearings, with the first being about expanding the Urban Renewal Area and the second hearing is about creating a blight district within the Urban Renewal Area. Then following those hearings, the Council will consider approving those respective measures, as well as authorizing the division of taxes. Next, the Council will consider for approval a resolution for a $300,000 forgivable loan for the former middle school property, a resolution for the proposal to sell property to Region XII Council of Governments for another housing rehabilitation project, as well as the fourth and fifth pay estimates and a resolution for the certificate of completion for the pickleball court project. They will also consider for approval the 28th pay estimate for the Wastewater Treatment Plant improvement project.
