The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs baseball and softball teams return to action today on the road facing off against the Newton Cardinals in Newton. First pitch for baseball from H.A. Lynn Baseball Field is scheduled for 7pm, with softball at 7:30.

The Mustang girls enter tonight’s contest ranked number five and are currently undefeated, entering with a record of 13-0. The Mustang boys look for their eighth win, entering with a 7-4 record. Tate Perrin and Taitn Gray look to get the bats rolling for DCG leading the team in hits while Jenah Gray and Addie Abens, the sophomore duo look to do the same for the girls.

Both teams travel to Newton to face off against the Cardinals. Baseball’s first pitch is scheduled for 7, with the girls shortly after at 7:30pm.
