
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board will meet in regular session tonight.
The board will review a professional development plan for the 2025-26 school year on training sessions for Teach Like A Champion techniques. After analyzing the plan, the board may determine to take action.
Other items on the agenda seeking approval include a Heartland Area Education Agency (AEA) 2025-26 service agreement, accept AEA Special Education Funds, an Experiencing Success Today 2026 Keynote Agreement, a bond counsel and disclosure counsel engagement agreement with Ahlers and Cooney, a resolution to direct the advertisement for sale, then accept electronic bidding procedures and the official statement; a device management software renewal, licensing to use the software Brisk, and Highway 169 signage for the new high school project.
Additional items on the agenda up for approval feature a storm protection fund resolution as well as a 28E Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement, the 2025-26 district insurance, a furniture inventory and procurement, change order thresholds, a change order for ADM High School, and a contract for Innovation Behavioral Therapy. The meeting is taking place tonight at the District Board Room, 215 N. 11th Street, in Adel at 6pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the results of the meeting later this week.
