Any 4-H’er who is looking to participate in the Adair County Fair and the Iowa State Fair are encouraged to make sure their exhibits are registered before the upcoming deadline.
Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage tells Raccoon Valley Radio why it’s important to do so, and when the deadline is for Adair County.
“This is where all exhibitors need to enter their livestock, (and) static exhibit projects into (the) Fair Entry (website) in order to be eligible to show at the Adair County Fair as well as the Iowa State Fair. So if you’re planning on bringing something to the fair, be sure to head on over to Fair Entry and get it signed up before June 17th.”
Savage mentions that she will be having some extended hours at the Extension Office in Greenfield to help those that may need it. She adds that individuals can come to her for assistance during the regular office hours for the Extension, or from noon to 2pm on Saturday if they can’t make it during the week.
