The Dallas Center-Grimes High School Girls Soccer Team needed just one goal on Saturday to notch their fourth straight championship.

DCG competed in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Class 2A Championship at the Cyclone Sports Complex at Iowa State University, where they beat Waverly-Shell Rock in double overtime 1-0. The goal came in the 94th minute, where Mustang senior Alexandra Hofbauer scored to give DCG the win, and bring their fourth consecutive state title to the school. 

Over three of the last four years, DCG has defeated Waverly-Shell Rock to claim the crown as the Mustangs beat North Polk in last year’s championship match.
