On Monday, the West Central Valley Wildcat baseball and softball teams played host to the Panorama Panthers for a local area clash. West Central Valley would come away with both victories, defeating the Panther baseball team 5-4 and the Panorama softball team 8-4.

In softball action Panorama would get on the board early as Lexi Galvan would single in the first with her pinch runner Miyah Small coming in to score to take a 1-0 lead in the first against Wildcat pitcher Grace Bleckwehl. The Wildcats would respond with a big first inning, scoring five runs as Lilian Gilbert would have a three RBI double to begin scoring for the Wildcats. West Central Valley would score three more runs in the bottom of the sixth to bring the score to 8-1. Panorama would drive three more runs in the top of the seventh as Galvan who hit a two RBI double to center field. The Wildcats would contain the Panthers and come out on top 8-4.

In the baseball contest, West Central Valley would walk away with the victory as the Wildcats would enter the bottom of the seventh down by one. Panorama would jump ahead early, scoring three runs as Brayden Meinecke, Joel Cooper and Brayden Galvan would come in to score. In bottom of the seventh, Colton Lindsay would single to right field to begin to give West Central Valley momentum. Zach Teague would be hit by a pitch, then replaced by Caden Lane to run the bases. Tyson Partlow would single to right field, to drive in Lindsay and Lane giving the Wildcats the 5-4 walk off victory.
