A recent graduate of Adel-DeSoto-Minburn was able to achieve a personal goal during a track and field competition in Iowa City.

Calli Seehase participated in the Track Guy Long Jump Invite on Saturday, as she captured a third place finish in a field of eight athletes. Not only was she top three, but did so with a new personal record of 17 feet and 10.5 inches behind Aiden Gosselink, who competed unattached, and Linn-Mar Marion’s Abby Mecklenburg. 

Seehase was apart of the ADM Girls Track and Field Team that brought home two consecutive state championships to Adel in 2024 and 2025. She will be attending Simpson College in Indianola, where Seehase will continue her track and field career.
