5:11am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near J Avenue. Gabriel Block of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2015 Ford Taurus. The estimated damage is 500 dollars.
9:29am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint at the Grand Junction Cemetery.
12:31pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near R Avenue.
1:31pm: The Sheriff, deputies, and the Jefferson Police Department conducted a search warrant at 1002 Head Street, Churdan. Evidence was found in the residence. Joseph Lanstrum was arrested for arrest warrants from the U. S. Marshals.
2:24pm: Joseph Lanstrum 38 of Churdan was booked into the jail for an arrest warrant from the U.S. Marshal’s office.
6:23pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1800 block of Redwood Avenue.
Tuesday, June 10th
11:16am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 200th Street near U Avenue.
1:52pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.
6:00pm: A deputy investigated a dog running at large complaint in the 900 block of Sand Street, Churdan.
6:23pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person at Spring Lake.
7:58pm: A deputy investigated a report of theft in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street, Jefferson.
9:56pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 1000 block of Head Street, Churdan.
10:43pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near F Avenue. There was no damage to the vehicle.
Wednesday, June 11th
5:07am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on Neola Avenue near 305th Street. Shawn Scheuermann of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2015 Buick Verano causing an estimated 5,000 dollars damage.
5:38am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street near J Avenue.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
