There are forms available for certain livestock shows as well as some registration deadlines for Greene County 4-H, FFA and Clover Kids to be aware of.

Greene County ISU Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Samantha Hardaway says a crucial deadline for stalling animals at the Greene County Fair is June 15th.

“Any Clover Kid, 4-H or FFA animal that will be coming to the Greene County Fair, the exhibitor or parent must fill out this form so you have somewhere to keep your animal at the county fair. So, we do all of this through the Extension Office, the forms are available online, on our website, or at our office, and you can swing by and fill this out to reserve your stall.”

Hardaway notes that Clover Kids who are wanting to show animals at the county fair must have them registered via the website also by June 15th. She says the animals that Clover Kids can show include dog, rabbit, sheep, goat, bucket calf and poultry, with only one animal per species is permitted. Hardaway points out that there are several forms that are also available including beef pen of three and bucket calves, home raised sheep and county raised beef, along with registration forms for fashion and communication exhibits.
