On Wednesday the Panorama Panthers softball team would travel to Madrid to face off against the Tigers. The Tigers would come away with a walk off victory, defeating the Panthers 5-4. The now 3-9 Panthers look to bounce back today as they face off against #1 Van Meter in double header action.

Panorama would find themselves down by one after the end of the 2nd, and would quickly respond in the third scoring three runs to take a 3-1 lead. The Panther defense would keep the Tigers contained, and would strike again on offense in the fifth scoring one more run to bring the score to 4-1. In the bottom of the seventh, Madrid would begin to rally, and would notch in four runs to secure a 5-4 walk off victory over Panorama.

The Panthers now fall to 3-9 and prepare for double header action in Van Meter. First pitch against the #1 ranked Bulldogs is scheduled for 5pm for game one, and 7pm for game two.
