Stuart’s annual town celebration begins tomorrow.

Stuart Chamber of Commerce Good Egg Days Committee member Kim Bigsby says that there are several fun things to do tomorrow to get the festivities started. She says that this year to get the business in the downtown district involved, the Friday night events have moved downtown.

Bigsby mentions that food trucks will be serving food on Northeast 2nd Street in front of Dollar General from 4-9pm, with sign-up for the Little Stinker/Stinkette Contest at the pocket park at 5:30pm. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio about the parade for children.

“Another thing we’d like to highlight is the Kiddy Parade too, which is starting registration at 6pm, and then the actual Kiddy Parade starts at 6:30pm. We’re hoping that lots of kids come in costumes, dressed in our theme, which is ‘Fun in the Sun by the Dozens.’ So you can come in your beach attire, come just ready to have fun in the sun, or you can come dressed just kind of the Good Egg Day’s theme, which is eggs, which I think is kind of a fun thing.”

Bigsby explains that there will also be kids karaoke by The Stuart Scoop from 6-9pm, with the announcement of the Little Stinker/Stinkette winners, 2025 Good Egg Days grand marshal and Citizen of the Year at 6:30pm. The night will finish off with live music from 9pm to 1am, and a pyrotechnics show from 9:30-10:30pm. A full list of the night’s events can be found below.
