The AC/GC Chargers baseball and softball teams fell in doubleheader action against the Interstate 35 Roadrunners last night.

Softball Head Coach Tyler Merical shares that the Chargers fell 10-0 in game one on the night, and 8-0 in game two. He mentions that the girls played hard, but came up against a very tough Roadrunners team.

The baseball team fell in their first game of the night 13-2, and lost game two 12-2. Ben Franzeen hit a ground out to second base in the fourth inning, but was able to bring Will Skram home for the Chargers first run in game two, and following that Noah Kading smashed a line drive to left field for a single, allowing Chase Slaybaugh to jet through third base and make his way home for the second run of the game. Between four pitchers on the night, the Chargers were able to get four strikeouts on the night.
