The second day of Stuart’s Good Egg Days is tomorrow.

Stuart Chamber Good Egg Days Committee Chair Kari Tisl says that the day gets started with the annual 5K run/walk, with registration at 7am and the race at 8am. She adds that there will be inflatables at Lawbaugh Park from 10am to 5pm, with the parade at 11am, and Chancey Hill will perform in the gazebo following the parade. Tisl tells Raccoon Valley Radio that once Hill finishes his performance, Zach Wright will be in the gazebo with a reptile show.

“I know a lot of people like turtles and snakes. You’re gonna learn all kinds of things about these reptiles. He’s very knowledgeable. It is a learning experience along with seeing all the different reptiles that he’ll bring. And I believe he’ll have a python, which you’ll be able to take pictures with if you want. I think it’s for a price, but I’m thinking it’s around five bucks. But he’ll stick around so you can get a picture with the python.”

Tisl mentions that there will be a bags tournament in front of Ruby’s Pub and Grill, with registration at 1pm and the tournament to begin at 2pm. She explains there will also be a bubble show from 3-4pm, and that there will be a craft show and food trucks at the park from 10am to 4pm. Tisl adds that Iowa Dairy Princess Harley Bommel will be attending Good Egg Days, taking part in the parade and making an appearance at the Ag-4-All exhibit between the gazebo and Raccoon Valley Radio’s Little Big Red Radio in the northeast corner of the park.
