The American Legion Osborne Post #99 in Minburn is honoring the United States with a free fundraising meal tomorrow.

The legion is welcoming people out to the Washington Township School, 18930 210th Street, in Minburn for a meal that will recognize Flag Day. According to the legion, the meal will celebrate America’s Army 250th Birthday as well as the 248th year of Flag Day. The meal will be a free will donation, as the legion mentions the money raised will go towards the general funds. 

As tomorrow is Flag Day, the legion says that it’s one of the most patriotic days in American history, and this event is to remind people of that. The meal will consist of pork loins, cheesy potatoes, green beans, roll, assorted desert bar, plus tea and lemonade. The meal is open to the public and is taking place from 5-7pm tomorrow.
