
On Thursday the West Central Valley Wildcat baseball team traveled to Pleasantville High School for double header action against the Trojans. The Wildcats would struggle offensively in both games, falling to the Trojans 9-0 in game one, and coming back to avoid the shut out in game two falling to Pleasantville 14-1.
Tryce Dlouhy would get the starting nod in game one pitching through four and a two thirds innings before being relieved by Hyrum Egger who would close out the first game for West Central Valley. The Wildcats would fall 9-0 in game one.
The Wildcats would avoid the shut out in game two falling to the Trojans 14-1 as West Central Valley would score in the first. Jarel Madison would single to center to bring in Colton Lindsay to score from second for the only run for the Wildcats in the 14-1 loss to Pleasantville.
The now 3-9-1 Wildcats return to action on Monday to face off against the Ogden Bulldogs. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm from Ogden High School.
