The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.

The council will be reviewing a resolution to set a public hearing on a proposed zoning amendment from the agricultural district to the heavy district. Items on the agenda seeking approval include a resolution for a temporary construction easement and permanent public utility easement, a resolution for a permanent easement for storm sewer right of way, a resolution for a statement of completion and final acceptance for the Willis Avenue Overlay project, and a contract number for the CDBG Upper Story Housing Conversion Grant.

Additional items on the agenda up for approval feature a resolution for an application of JBS USA Food Company to the Iowa Economic Development Authority High Quality Jobs Program, a resolution to accept the site plan for Flex Space Buildings by M and R Properties, LLC in Perry, a resolution for a professional services agreement with Bolton and Menk for the Willis Avenue and Highway 141 Intersection Study, and a resolution to set salaries for employees of the City of Perry for fiscal year 2026. 

The meeting is open to the public and is happening inside the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry Monday evening at 6pm.
