Stuart’s annual town celebration saw several people make their way into town Friday and Saturday.

On Friday night, Barb Boss was named Citizen of the Year, and Jeff and Lisa Howard were named the Grand Marshals for Stuart Good Egg Days 2025. On Saturday, Iowa Dairy Princess Harley Baumler attended the event, taking part in the parade and handing out snacks at the Ag-4-All booth in the park. She told Raccoon Valley Radio why she decided to come to Good Egg Days.

“Yeah, so especially with Northeast and Northwest Iowa being strong in the dairy industry, I thought it was such a great opportunity to get down in Southwest Iowa to advocate for dairy.”

Baumler mentioned that she thought being able to help promote agriculture while also taking part in the town celebration was a cool idea, and that she can’t wait for the next opportunity to come and attend the festivities again.
