Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the action between the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Carlisle Softball teams tonight in Adel for senior night, as it’s a battle of the top-10 for Class 4A.

Two weeks ago on June 4th, the Wildcats defeated the Tigers 8-6, where Carlisle erupted for seven runs in the bottom of the first inning. ADM is riding a seven-game winning streak with wins over Winterset, North Polk, Pleasant Valley, North Scott, Dubuque Senior, Bettendorf, and Ballard. 

Speaking of the Bombers, the Tigers were only able to squeeze in the first game of the double header on Monday, getting an 11-7 victory after the second game was suspended in the top of the third inning due to lightning, with ADM holding a 4-0 lead. That game will resume tomorrow morning at Ballard Middle School in Huxley at 9am.

It’s also senior night for the Tigers, as they will recognize Aniston Tollari, Madi James, and Kennedy Stanford. Carlisle is ranked sixth in Class 4A, while ADM is number 10. ADM Baseball will also be in Adel taking on the Wildcats at 7pm. First pitch for softball will be at 7:15pm and Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting around 7pm.
