On Thursday the Panorama Panthers softball team played host to the Des Moines Christian Lions for double header softball action. Panorama would fall in game one 12-0 and would bounce back in the second game scoring five runs but would still fall to the Lions 12-5.

Lexi Galvan and Andrea Knode would both pitch in game one as the Lions would have a big second inning scoring eleven runs to end the game after three innings. Catcher Bridget White and Knode would have the lone two hits for the Panthers in game one. In game two, Knode would return to the mound pitching for six innings achieving four strikeouts. The Panthers would notch in eight hits against the Lions, as Galvan and Arilyan Steenblock would lead Panorama in hits with two, while Steenblock would lead the Panthers in RBIs with two.

Panorama falls to 4-14 and return to action on Saturday in Nodaway Valley for the Nodaway Valley Invitational Softball Tournament.
