Drought conditions remain the same from last week for the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

According to the US Drought Monitor, both Dallas and Guthrie Counties are seeing drought conditions, with the western half of Guthrie and eastern half of Dallas in abnormally dry conditions. The rest of the two counties, along with Greene County are not in a drought.

According to the National Weather Service, as of June 20th, Jefferson has recorded 4.88 inches of rain, and usually records 3.46 inches by that same time. Perry has reported 3.66 inches of rain, and usually reports 3.27, while Guthrie Center has reported 1.02 inches of rain while usually seeing 1.61 inches.
